Gordon Native

The Project

Gordon Native.

A native garden in Gordon that begins at the street. Stepping stones cross a bed of massed grasses to the front door, and the fall of the site is taken up in wide stone treads.

Behind the house, a hardwood deck and a pergola against a rendered wall make the main outdoor room. Tussock grasses, flax and gabion-edged beds do the planting work.
